These are links to various papers I have written, most of them about Spanish literature. Note that since some of these are in Spanish, the accents and upside down question marks are sometimes incorrect. I will remove this message once I have corrected all of them.

Before clicking on either of the two stories at the bottom, please be advised that each contains violence and strong language.

The paper I turned in for my Master of Arts degree in Spring 2004

My undergraduate senior thesis on Borges and time This paper has trouble deciding whether it is about Borges or Time or Philosophy.  I like it though.

The Spanish Golden Age  This is in Spanish, and it's kind of a general overview of Golden age poetry and drama.

Encantamiento 1  Also in Spanish--part I of my Don Quijote exploration in Enchantment

Encantamiento 2  part II of the same

Quijote  This is another Quijote investigation, this one not really involving as much in depth research as comparison with other works.

La quema de los libros  A study of one of the particular chapters from Quijote I, a favorite of mine.  Also an interesting pondrance on modern book-burning.

La celestina  Kind of a rudimentary essay on the 16th century play.  Really a precursor to Romeo and Juliet (heard of it?).

Biografia de un cimarrón  This is a paper I wrote for a class I really didn't like as much, but if you've ever read Cimarron I think you will appreciate it.

The Blanket a short story I wrote freshman year of college.
