No later than October 15, 2017,
the CONTEST ADMINISTRATOR should send an email to
mathcomp "at" math.umd.edu with the following information.
NAME OF SCHOOL:
COUNTY(or Baltimore City/D.C.):
NAME OF CONTEST ADMINISTRATOR:
The contest administrator should be a teacher or administrator at the school,
not a student or a parent.
He or she agrees to abide by all instructions for the administration
of the exam(s).
Violations may result in the disqualification of participants.
Part I of the exam together with instructions will be sent by email on
October 20, 2017 to all registered schools.
FOR CONTEST ADMINISTRATORS: PRINTING THE PART I ANSWER SHEETS
As soon as you know how many students will be taking Part I at your
school, download the ANSWER
SHEET FOR PART I of the exam.
This pdf file should be opened preferably with Adobe Acrobat Reader
or a with web browser.
USE A PRINTER -- NOT A PHOTOCOPIER -- to print as many copies of the answer sheet
as you need, one for each student taking the exam. You should print out a few more
answer sheets than the number of students that have registered.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT PHOTOCOPY THE ANSWER
SHEET. This may cause reading errors in the software that we
use to grade Part I of the exam. Use only a printer to create the
answer sheets, and take care to ensure that their appearance on the
printed page is as close as possible to the pdf file that you see on
the screen. In particular, the long side of the answer sheet should
agree with the long (11 inch) side of the printed paper, so the
orientation should be "landscape". If you have difficulties in
printing the answer sheets, send an email to mathcomp "at"
math.umd.edu and we will provide assistance.
