Analysis and computation of flow control and optimization problems.

Prof. Max Gunzburger

We first give some computational results for various flow control and optimization problems. These include shape design in incompressible and compressible flows, transition delay by injection or suction of fluid, and the feeback control of Karman vortex shedding. We then discuss the analysis of incompressible flow control problems and of their finite element approximation.
