Finite Element Circus
Spring 2007
University of Maryland
College Park

The Finite Element Circus is a regular conference devoted to the theory and applications of the finite element method, and related areas of numerical analysis and partial differential equations.

At the beginning of the circus we ask who wants to speak. Then a random order of the talks is chosen. The time for each talk depends on the number of speakers and is typically between 10 and 15 minutes.

Time and Place

The talks are given in the colloquium room of the Math Department (room MTH 3206 on the 3rd floor of the Math Building).

There will be a lunch at about 12:30pm on Saturday.

Registration and Dinner

Please register online if you are planning to attend the circus and indicate whether you will attend the dinner on Friday evening.

The dinner on Friday evening will be at the Holiday Inn in College Park (see below). There will be a buffet with chicken, beef, fish, vegetables and salad. The price of $35 per person includes iced tea, cake and coffee.
