My name is Danul Gunatilleka, and I am a Lecturer in mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park.

My research interest lies in Model Theory. In model theory I study generic structures: structures that may be constructed as Fraïssé limits of structures of finite classes. My advisor was Michael C. Laskowski.

I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 2010. In 2012 I, graduated from the Louisiana State University with a Master of Science degree in mathematics. I obtained my PhD from the University of Maryland in 2019.
