The Final Exam is on Thursday May 16, 8:00-10:00 a.m., in our regular classroom.
Semester Exams will cover the following sections of the text,
and any supplementary material covered with them:
- Exam 1: through 11.3,4 (some Ch. 12).
- Exam 2: from Ch. 13, 14, 15.
- Exam 3: from Ch. 16, 17.
- Exam 4: from Ch. 18, 19.
This breakdown corresponds to four natural groups of material
in the course:
- R^n, inner products and norms, convergence, continuous functions, metric space topology
- Derivatives in R^n
- Implicit and inverse functions and application
- Integration in R^n
Notes.
- The schedule is a projected schedule and may change. If it changes, I will
update it and email the class.
- *Hx*at a date means Homework x is due in class on that date.
- The lecture on a given day covers material indicated in the box for that
day. The unexplained numbers refer to sections of our text, by Fitzpatrick.
There may be supplementary materials added.

The last day of schedule adjustment is Tuesday Feb. 5.
The last day to drop with a W is Wednesday April 10.
The last day of class before the final is Wednesday May 8.
