Nathan Manning

As it says on the front page, I'm currently a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Maryland. I finished a two-year postdoc at the University of Ottawa, and I completed my PhD at the University of California, Riverside in June 2012. I got my MS there in 2008, and my BS at the University of Puget Sound in 2006. During university, I took a semester abroad with the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics program. I graduated from Overland High School in Aurora, Colorado in 2002.

In my off time, I enjoy rock climbing, cooking (especially with my wife Kate), reading fiction, playing video games, traveling, practicing ballroom dance and generally acquiring new skills. But most of the time, you can find me in my office, doing math and math-related activities.
