I do not know what I may appear to the world; but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on
the seashore, and diverting myself now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than
ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.

What is the pattern, or the meaning, or the why? It does not do harm to the mystery to know a little about
it. For far more marvelous is the truth than any artists of the past imagined it. Why do the poets of the present not speak of it? What men are poets who can speak of Jupiter if he were a man, but if he is an immense spinning sphere of methane and ammonia must be silent?

Aristotle
There are countless ways of achieving greatness, but any road to achieving one's maximum potential must
be built on a bedrock of respect for the individual, a commitment to excellence, and a rejection of mediocrity.
--Buck Rogers
Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.
--Albert Einstien
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music.
--Angela Monet
And what, incidentally, do you think integrity is? The ability not to pick a watch out of your neighbour's pocket? No, it's not as easy as that. If that were all, I'd say ninety-five percent of humanity were honest, upright men. Only, as you can see, they aren't. Integrity is the ability to stand by an idea. That presupposes the ability to think. Thinking is something one doesn't borrow or pawn.
--Ayn Rand (Fountainhead)
Just as the disease needs be diagnosed, its cause eliminated, a healthy state is achieved and the remedy implemented, so also should suffering, its causes, its cessation and the path be known, removed, attained and undertaken.
This is why it is so crucial to realize the nature of suffering, because the stronger and deeper your insight into suffering is the stronger your aspiration to gain freedom from it becomes.
--Maitreya (Uttaratantra)
