                                                  Average over 24 students who took the quiz was 8. Ten students got 10/10, 21 students got 7 or more...

                                                  Average over 21 students who took the quiz was 7.28. Thirteen students got 8 or more...

                                                  June 30: Solution for the Exam 2.
                                                  Average over 24 students who took the exam was 74.85, median=83.5. Three students got 110/100.
                                                  Eight students got 90 or more, 6 students got 80 to 89.

                                                  Average over 21 students who took the Quiz 5 was 7.76. Eleven students got 10/10.

                                                  July 4 : Dear students, I will be in Imaging Science 2008 conference in San Diego. I will be substituted by Dr. Weiran Sun on July 7, 8, 9 and 10.
                                                  There will be Quiz 6 on Friday, July 11 as usual. The quiz will cover sections 8.7, 10.1, 10.2, 9.1 and 9.2.

                                                  July 25: I have finished the grading and have submitted the grades at 4.30 pm. You should be able to get the grades as soon as the University's Testudo System catches up. I am very pleased with the performance of the class. The grade system I followed was the standard american system. i.e. 90%-100% :A, 80%-89.99% :B, 70%-79.99% :C, 60%-69.99% D and less than 60% is F. There were three A grades, three B grades, eight C grades, three D grdaes out of the twenty students who took the final exam. You can request a copy of your final exam from the undergraduate mathematics department (MATH 1117). You can collect the copy in one-two business days, after the request is made. Thank you for making the class a success and have a great rest of the summer !
