Assignment 1: Due Wednesday, September 17, 2008. You may use the software package of your choice to solve the computational problems, but the use of SAS is strongly recommended.

Use the computer to reproduce all numerical and graphical results in Examples 6.2--6.4 of Rencher & Schaalje.
Solve problems 6.6, 6.12, 6.13, 6.14 of Rencher & Schaalje.
Produce a graph of the data of Problem 6.14, with the least squares line plotted on the same graph.
