Homework problems will be assigned from the text,  collected and graded. Homework will be due every Monday of the semester, except that the last assignment will be due the last  Friday since the last meeting of the semester is a Monday. The assignments with their due dates will be posted below.  Overdue homework will be accepted only under extremely unusual circumstances. Early homework, on the other hand, will always be accepted. If you know you will need to miss class on some date, hand in the homework early.

The table below, when completed, will  show  the homework problems and their due dates. The numbers preceded by S are section numbers of the text; other numbers are problem numbers within the sections. The problem numbers following supp are from a supplementary problem set, to which a link is provided. After the class meeting at which each assignment is due, the due date will become a link to a solution page.
