My name is Ryan Kirk, and I am a graduate student in mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park.

My main interests lie in geometry and topology. More specifically, I study geometric structures and representation varieties of surface and 3-manifold groups. My advisor is Christian Zickert.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012.
