Fall 2005 - Math 452: Chaos and Math 240: Linear Algebra
This semester I'm continuing my homework discussion sections and project advising (described below) for Math 452 and am TA for Math 240.
I have about 50 students, most of whom are not mathematics majors. We meet twice weekly and discuss homework
problems. My duties include holding office hours, preparing handouts for students, and grading exams.

Spring 2004 - Math 452: Chaos
This course had 29 students most of whom were not math majors. For the
first half of this course I primarily graded homework, prepared
written solutions, assisted students in the Dynamics software package
and held office hours to discuss homework. The later half of the class
consisted of helping students develop and carryout their final
research projects. Research projects in the course were diverse and
ranged in areas from analyzing orbits of the Gauss map to implementing
a working model of Chua's Circuit.
-
Fall 2004 - Math 246:
Differential Equations
My duties consisted of running weekly discussion sections with
students, providing instruction in Matlab software and programming
language; preparing/grading weekly quizzes; grading exams; holding
office hours.
Note:
As I was recipient of a three year Graduate Fellowship from the National
Science Foundation; I did not begin teaching until my fourth year of
graduate school.
