Fall 1997 WIM Lunch Schedule

Let's have lunch! I was thinking it might be a good idea to set up a WIM lunch schedule for the rest of the semester. That way, all we have to do is go. We don't have to mull over when to have them. Only one person responded to my question regarding good and bad days for lunch. I'm hoping Fridays are good for many people. Let's tentatively set up the following schedule for lunch:

Question: Do we want to have lunch with the computer science women? If so, we can meet more often. If not, I can schedule lunch on the same days they have lunch scheduled (alternate Fridays starting November 5). Let me know when and how often you would like to meet. You can do this via e-mail (wim@math.umd.edu) or at the lunch on November 14 (location TBA).

WIM Potluck?

Would anyone be interested in having a potluck dinner at my place before the semester ends? I thought it would be a good chance to relax and get to know one another. I know we are all super busy -- but we all have to eat, right? Let me know your thoughts on this idea (what days of the week are good for you, what times are good for you, etc.).
