Women in Math (WIM) Electronic Newsletter
Mission
This net is dedicated to items of interest to the Women in Math group.
A periodic electronic newsletter is distributed to the net containing
the following information:
- questions
- colloquium announcements
- articles of interest or references to such articles
- suggestions
- meeting announcements
Submitting Articles
All net members are encouraged to send items of interest to the net
by sending an e-mail message to
wim@math.umd.edu.
Please note that items which are sent to the above address are NOT
automatically fowarded to the net. They are reviewed and edited by the
net manager as appropiate. The following rules apply:
- No innapropiate messages will be forwarded to the rest of the net,
where an innapropiate message is anything which does not relate to
the areas of interest outlined above.
- All messages are edited to remove the mail header and to be
incorporated into the newsletter.
- Names are included in the postings UNLESS the writer requests to
remain anonymous. Anonymous postings are welcome on this net.
Please be assured that your identity will not be revealed under any
circumstances.
