How to Get to the Math Department by Metro

  • Take the Green Line to station ``College Park/Univ. of Maryland'' (Map of the DC Metro System)
  • From the College Park Metro station take the free University shuttle bus leaving from the EAST side of Metro station (main exit). The bus runs Monday to Friday 6:54am to 7:54pm about every 15 min. when the University is open (regardless of whether classes are in session). Weekend service is provided during the academic year only, see the schedule (PDF) for more details. The shuttle bus has a stop in front of the Math building (circled ``10'' on the map below).

You can also walk to campus from the Metro station (about .8 mile, 20 minutes): Take the underpass to the WEST side of the Metro station and walk west on College Ave., see map. Following College Ave. (which becomes Regents Dr. after crossing Route 1) will take you the traffic circle with the big "M" where the Math building is located.
