Math Elizabeth Stapel of Western International University has created Purple Math as a free online Algebra Resource. The entire site is well formatted making the lessons easy to follow. The lessons are also well written and easy to understand. Most of the lessons contain some sort of graphics to go along with the lessons making them even easier to understand. The site contains sections covering the information from the Algebra section of the course as well as most of the topics from the Functions section of the course. This site is recommended for those who are just learning the material as well as those who are looking for a way to review. |

Algebra - About.com This link will take you to the table of contents for the About.com site which deals with College Algebra. The different sections in this site cover most of the 113 topics and some of the 115 topics. The formatting within the site is not the best but it is not hard to understand if you take a moment to try and figure it out. The actual discussion of the topics is well done and easy to follow. This site is recommended for those who are just learning the information as well as those who need to review it. |
