Abstract: There are several aspects of dissipation for the kinetic theory. The most standard one is the H-Theorem, as the consequence of the molecular chaos for the Boltzmann equation. There is also the dissipative boundary conditions such as that of the Maxwell-types. The fluid-type disspations are the combined effects of linear transport and the collision operators. We will illustrate these through several concrete examples. |
