Abstract:

Various macroscopic model were proposed for social dynamics, such as the Krause-Hegselmann for opinion dynamics of the Cucker-Smale for alignment. Passing to the limit, it is possible to get Vlasov-Poisson type equations which are well interpreted as nonlinear transport equations. A general mathematical setting is that of measure spaces endowed with the Wasserstein distance. We wil present some results on these equations and their control.
