Abstract:

This talk will survey some recent advances in multi-agent robotics, inspired by considering the emergence of efficient foraging patterns, area search, intruder detection and patrolling methods in ant colonies, and other examples of interesting global behaviors resulting from myopic, local interactions between the members of various animal swarms.
