Abstract:

Exciton diffusion length is an important parameter to characterize the efficiency of organic solar cells. Diffusion model, Monte-Carlo method, Stern-Volmer formula, and exciton-exciton annihilation model have been used to calculate exciton diffusion lengths of different materials under photoluminescence and photocurrent measurements. In this talk, I will discuss the relations between different models from a modeling viewpoint with mathematical justifications and experimental verifications.
