MATH 112 (College Algebra with Applications and Trigonometry)

DESCRIPTION This course is similar to MATH 113, and is strongly recommended for students in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Life Sciences, and those needing PHYS 141.
PREREQUISITES Satisfactory score on Math Department placement exam or completion of the appropriate module of MATH 003.
TOPICS The topics of MATH 112 differ from MATH 113 in the following respect only: MATH 112 covers a substantial amount of trigonometry in place of material on matrices, linear programming, sequences and series. For use as a prerequisite course for entry to MATH 220, MATH 112 is equivalent to MATH 113.
