Due to the strong demand for hotels in the Pasadena area, we urge all of the participants to make their hotel reservations as soon as possible. There is only a limited block of rooms with reduced prices available in the hotels and motels listed below; reservations for those rooms will be based on first-come, first-serve basis. All hotel reservations can be made either by faxing your request to the hotel with your credit card information; calling the hotel, or, in the case of Sheraton Pasadena, you may email your reservation request. In all cases, indicate that you are attending the International Conference on Hyperbolic PDEs at Caltech. There are two types of accommodations available near Caltech. (1) Simple motels with very reasonable prices ($56 - $68) within 1/2 mile to 1 mile of Caltech. (2) Higher priced hotels located more toward downdown Pasadena with prices ranging from $99 - $149, and further away from campus (2 miles). When you make your reservation, it is important to mention that you will attend the International Conference on Hyperbolic PDEs at Caltech. The quoted rates are negotiated rates only for people who will attend HYP2002. Note: The prices quoted below may be subject to small increase in 2002 due to the increased electricity and utility prices in California. |
