Research interests:
My research is devoted to the development of numerical methods for solving mathematical problems arising in natural sciences including geophysics, chemical physics, and biology. Recently, it has largely been concerned with development of dynamical programming-type algorithms for quantification of rare events in systems modeled by stochastic differential equations or Markov chains.
